Our Material Philosophy

We choose our materials with the same care and lack of compromise as everything else we do. Our swimwear is crafted using Amni Soul Eco®, a next-generation polyamide fiber developed by Solvay.

  • Unlike traditional synthetics, this fiber is engineered to biodegrade over time once it reaches a landfill environment.

  • It is specifically designed to reduce microplastic persistence in marine environments.

  • Our materials are certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring they are safe for both you and the planet.

  • To extend the life of your garment and minimize microfibre release, we recommend a simple, gentle routine:

    • Rinse After Use: A quick ten-second rinse in cool water after the sea or pool keeps the fabric fresh and the elastane behaving well.

    • Wash Cold & Gentle: When a full wash is needed, use a gentle cycle with cold water.

    • Skip the Heat: Never tumble dry. Heat is the enemy of stretch fibers.

    • Dry in the Shade: Squeeze out excess water (don't wring) and dry flat in the shade to protect the colors and fibers.

  • We don’t claim to be "perfect" or "plastic-free". We believe in being specific:

    • Synthetic textiles can shed microfibers during washing.

    • We encourage using a wash bag or filter to reduce this impact.

    • Our goal is to provide a product that is coherent from beginning to end, no greenwashing, just better choices.

Amni Soul Eco® refers to a special type of textile yarn designed to be more sustainable at the end of a garment’s life.

Products made with it keep the same performance and durability as regular fabrics, but if they end up in a landfill or the ocean, the material is designed to break down much faster than conventional synthetic fibers.

OEKO‑TEX® Standard 100 is a safety certification for textiles. It means a product has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human skin.
